Heavy rains are expected to continue in Bethesda and the surrounding areas. A report from the national weather service advises caution and has put a flash flood warning into effect until July 24th at 4am.

Currently the National Weather Advisory is keeping an eye on the changing developments and will continue to update throughout the week. As the week progresses and the rainfall is continually measured, the flood watch may be extended.

In particular, the Potomac River and the Seneca Creek have both been picked out for possible flooding. If you need to travel near either place, please exercise caution.
